Identifying the Left From the Right
To avoid grabbing the wrong hearing aid by mistake, the left one is marked with a blue indicator at the bottom of the hearing aid.
Your right hearing aid is marked with a red indicator at the bottom of the hearing aid.
Why is this important?
If you have two hearing aids, they may be tuned differently to give you the best sound amplification according to the specific hearing loss in each ear.

Remember the 2-Minute Rule When changing batteries, remember to wait 2 minutes after removing the sticker, |
Never Run Out of Battery Power
Keep a Spare Set of Batteries with You
Just like checking for your phone, make a habit of ensuring your have an extra set of batteries with you when you leave the house.
Add “Get Batteries” to Your Calendar
When you’ve used up your first pack of batteries you can estimate when you’ll need to buy more, based on how long your first pack lasted and how many packs you have left. Add a purchase reminder to your calendar.
Note: New, high-quality batteries can be purchased at your Beltone store or at shop.beltone.com.
Turn Off Your Hearing Aids at Night
Save power by turning off your hearing aids when you go to sleep at night. After you’ve removed them, open the battery hatch slightly. You might want to keep a note by your bedside as a reminder.
Good Questions for Your Hearing Care Professional
Your hearing care professional may have written down important details about your hearing aid and how it has been configured. If you’re not clear on something, here are some good questions to ask:
Which programs are on my hearing aid? What are programs 1, 2 and 3?
How is my push button or multi-function button configured? How do I change programs?
